MassDOT Crash Open Data Portal
This service should be used when trying to obtain statewide crash data that may be filtered at the crash, vehicle, or person level that could be downloaded in several formats.
It is important to note the Open Data Portal design allows for sharing of data services amongst different portals. To that end the Highway Crash Data is available on both the MassDOT Open Data Portal (GeoDOT) and on the IMPACT MassDOT Crash Open Data Portal. These are distinct Open Data Portals that provide access to the Highway Crash Data.

To use the MassDOT Crash Open Data Portal:
1. Click the VIEW button from the Data Extract page.

2. A new browser window or tab will open with the MassDOT Crash Open Data Portal landing page providing a standard text entry box for searching for data.

3. To begin searching simply select a category of assets (Data, Documents, or Apps and Maps). Or you can enter a value to find related data sets. For example; Entering in "2019" will auto populate the list as indicated below. Press Enter to explore data sets related to 2019 or select one from the list provided.
